July 25: Shelter Island Volunteer Sunday honoring Shelter Island Ambulance Foundation: Fr. Charles McCarron, St. Mary’s Episcopal Church; Jim Preston, guest speaker and chairman of the Ambulance Corps. Musicians Heather Reylek, guitar, and Andy Norton, mandolin.
August 1: Choir Sunday including annual Community Choir: Rev. Sam Clover, Reformed Church of Bronxville and Jen Clover, vocal soloist.
August 8: Shelter Island Garden Club: Fr. Peter DeSanctis, Our Lady of the Isle Catholic Church; Chapel Trustee and cellist Christopher Herman.
August 15: Rev. Jill Vogt, co-pastor of Moravian Church of Germany; guest musicians, The Cottage Trio.
August 22: Poetry Sunday: Emma Martinez, SIHS Class of 2021, reading and discussing and the poetry of Amanda Gorman as well as reading an original poem. Guest musician: cellist Jeanne Woelker.
August 29: Harvest Sunday, honoring Sylvester Manor: Rev. Galen Guengerich, All Souls Church, NYC; Sylvester Manor farmers will sing work songs.
September 5: Closing Sunday: Rev. Katherine Henderson, Auburn Seminary; Heather Reylek and Island Folk will perform.
